There is a campaign for boycott of Chinese goods in the country. The Indian scenario has changed in order to break all shared ties with China, which has been supporting Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. Such an incident is being seen on social sites. India is a major center for Chinese goods, as Chinese goods are cheaper.
The trade of Chinese goods in the country is so extensive that in the first few weeks before the festival, only in Delhi, products worth 1000 crores have been sold. As a member of the WTO, India needs to import Chinese goods. The trade partnership between China and India is 4.6 lakh crores, and China is India’s largest trading partner. For this reason, India may face difficulties in ending trade partnership with China.
The process of manufacture of indigenous goods in India has become somewhat blunt. India imports 7 times more goods from China than exports. India imports 32.02 per cent of electronic, 17.01 per cent of nuclear reactors, boilers and parts, organic chemicals 9.83 per cent foliators. Agriculture and today’s important part of human mobile When we are forced to import from China, then it does not seem appropriate to stop trading with China.
Mahatma Gandhi had said that we need to be free from the use of foreign goods, but he also said that this will happen only when we make our own things. When foreign investment is also happening in Modi’s ambitious plan ‘Make in India’, then the boycott issue seems inadequate. Only we can beat China against its durability. We cannot run a boycott campaign only because of the use of Chinese skirting and firecrackers during the festive season.
India currently buys iron and steel 5.82 percent, plastics and articles 2.74 percent, photography equipment 2.09 percent, bots 2.05 percent, iron and steel articles 1.92 percent and 1.81 percent parts of vehicles other than railways from China. India imports almost all the parts of the past few years from cosmetics, defense equipment to travel facilities like rail, motor vehicles, etc., then it makes sense to talk about the import of Chinese goods. To what extent the boycott of Chinese goods can be justified when the country’s infrastructure agriculture is still with China’s equipment and fetters.
China has become a manufacturing hub for the world’s big brands, not just for India. Most of the equipment of well-known companies is manufactured from China. Due to the price of sugar products being cheap, many producers in India are currently becoming traders only and only. Actually the problem is that at the lower price that a product is made in India, it comes to the market with the tag of ‘Make in China’ at a lower price. If we talk about the economy of every country is not equal. The wheel of economy keeps spinning. If we look at it, we will know that in the 1960s and 70s, Japan had established its dominance over the world market. After this, 80s belonged to Korea. He doubled by day, progressed by night and became a market for the world.
After this, China has not only captured the whole of South Asia, and is selling its goods. Now if India is ready to respond to China with Pakistan, then it will have to evict China from its position, for this India will have to increase its production area. China’s goods are weak in the area of quality and durability, India can make a place by doing good work in this area. If we talk about long-term quality goods, then the name of Germany will come up. There is no match for German machinery yet. Although China has made a place in the world market by making cheap goods, but it is far behind in terms of quality. India should pay attention to this.

Detail Explanation of types of reading
Scanning
Scanning is reading with a specific purpose in mind for specific information. When one reads an entire text/ document quickly while looking for specific information, it is known as scanning.
For examples:- Going through an entire newspaper and looking for specific news like try to get specific information about Delhi University admission, on Election- Poll etc.
Skimming
Skimming is speed reading for an overview of general information. Going through an entire newspaper quickly through the headlines is an example of skimming. Going through Data- table quickly to elicit to an overall idea of the topic on which data is presented is an example of skimming techniques of reading. Do not expect or deep comprehension of the written text after skimming. Reading only the headings of the chapter is skimming.
“A.K Pugh in his book “Silent Reading – An Introduction to its Study and Teaching suggested that since scanning is a less complex style of reading it can be introduced first. Skimming requires fluency and more practice required, it should be introduced later.”
Intensive Reading
It is a specific written piece for a specific purpose. It is going into minutest details of a particular word/phrase/line/paragraph.
For example:-
“The woods are lovely dark & deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep”
Refer: “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” by “Robert Frost”
To answer a question like,’ what is the meaning of ‘woods’ in the poem, one will adopt intensive reading techniques. This Skill is very crucial for language learners, as they pick up vocabulary focus on structure& syntax while following these techniques.
Scrivener in his book ‘Learning Teaching’ Published in 1994, described that the readers carefully and closely read a short text to gain as an understanding of as much as detail as possible.
Extensive Reading
It is a kind of general reading for general information. Generally, this technique is used for pleasure reading, like reading a novel for pleasures.
For Example:- If one is asked to read to a chapter before discussing it in class, one goes for extensive reading to get the general idea of the piece. While reading unseen passage, both extensive & intensive both is required. For dealing with specific questions intensive reading is required, but for initial reading is for the general idea of the passage.

One of the Shakespeare’s most powerful, strange, uncomfortable plays. A play about a piece of paper with a promise, a dangerous promise, and yet its a comedy. Sometimes showcasing the relation between Jews and Christians, sometimes, comedy and tragedy, and sometimes between those who are at center and the margins. Yet, it is a play that engages with toxic materials, with the major themes of self interest, the divine quality of mercy, hatred as a cyclical phenomenon.
Though, the play begins with a comic, but not entirely lighthearted way with a group of friends – male friends. But as the play proceeds, through act two, the story turns to unfold, and it is out of the history of hatred and suspicion that the play withstands in a new way. And turns into a tragic event. In act three is a famous moment, where the speech of Shylock (one of the tragic figures of the play) is a declaration of shared humanity. This speech makes the extremely strong claim of the opposite, that we share the same being. But it is also worth remembering that the speech ends with a declaration of determination to revenge.
This is a play that says if you treat me this way, I will want to get my revenge. And I have learned that also from you, because when you are treated badly you want revenge.
This play stages rage on the part of the persecuted minority. The determination on the part of Shylock to kill his enemy.
Going all the way through the act four, we,as an audience,experience that it might turn out to be one of the tragic plays, as is clear from the trial scene, ending up with Antonio’s death. But, lastly ends up with a happily -ever- after mood. In act five, everyone marrying their loved ones, changing of lives.
There are two ways that people tend to think about comedy, a more romantic idea and a more satiric idea. And the romance is what throws the emphasis on the reconciliation.
When the play begins, fulfilling the audience’s expectations of what a comedy might look like, we have young men bantering with each other, teasing Antonio about the fact that he is sad. We also have the introduction of marriage plot, we learn that Bassanio wants to woo Portia. Also, Portia wants to find an acceptable husband. The play also goes towards a romantic play, a myths, fairy tales, romance stories that audiences might be familiar with, like involving the casket test. Audience might have reacted with some surprise when we hear this tragic news that Antonio has defaulted, that his life is in danger.
Thus, this is a play that leaves the audiences awestruck with its continuously changing moods, starting rightly from a comic pace, to going through some tragic moments, and finally ending up with a rom-com arena. Which is why most of the playwrights often misconceptualise it and try to mould it in a way which suits their audiences the most.

Humans have been challenging their boundaries and bringing every aspect of their dreams to be a realty. With the development in science and technology, men has been able to bring all sorts of comforts, facilities and knowledge to their lives. World war 2 led an important role in development of aerospace and related field. More aircrafts be it passenger or fighter were manufactured and this leads to a whole new phase of possibilities for humans. So humans were able to launch their first satellite in space, followed by the first person in space and then soon after a few years we were even able to land on the moon. Space became a fight between the top countries like the USA and Soviet Union. But initially Soviet Union were way long heading in this fight till the USA didn’t land their mission or manned mission on the moon.
But the main thing to notice is that humans last landed on the moon in early 70’s.One after another space mission, Helped humans to discover a lot more about space, and each time they land, created history. But what led to the stopping of these missions suddenly. Why did the US stop their successful series of aircraft in outer space? Initially these were very successful missions to space until Apollo-13 which got to space and orbited the moon, but couldn’t land due to lack of oxygen . It was a tough journey back to planet safe, but it really helped NASA especially to look after loophole and prepare best for the next mission. After that, successful 4 missions held. But soon it stopped. The study shows the effect of “Budget for these space agencies as by the government”. In late 50’s as soon as Soviet Union started their missions to space, it put pressure on USA. Soon after they sent their first Cosmonaut to space and ended more pressure on the USA. The US seemed to lose this race to space. So they invested most of their money in developing space technology, research and new ideas to overcome this defeat. This truly resulted as an advancement for humans and their reach beyond limits which they thought were impossible not. The moon landing and consecutive space flights lead them way long to head to Soviet Union and any other countries, making it the only country to land on the moon.
But significantly the USA has limited its investment in most space projects and this has significantly called off most of their space missions. After 1973 , investment got less and decreased with time and is still very less as compared to what it used to be. The reason for this is that they seem themselves as superpowers and no other country has achieved such accomplishment in space. So space travel and especially landing on the moon decreased .
NASA is planning their next space manned program to land on the moon by 2024 and this might be a beginning of another phase of moon landing with back to back space flights and landing missions on moons. The dream to have a human base may get another lifeline to be fulfilled soon and we may see other better possibilities, research and hidden secrets on the moon which could help us to better understand it, and we can make a permanent human base on our natural satellites.
