👨‍🎓ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF ONLINE TEACHING LEARNING METHOD👩‍🎓

Nowadays, online learning turns out to be more and more practiced. Many traditional universities started to share their courses online for free. It represents an easy and comfortable method to achieve knowledge in almost every field, from law and accounting, to human sciences, such as psychology and sociology or history. Online learning is a great alternative to traditional universities, especially for people who can’t afford the time and money to take real courses. But what are the advantages and disadvantages of online learning?

Advantages Of Online Learning
Although many people still consider traditional universities as the best way to achieve knowledge and get a diploma, online learning proves to be a great alternative. Students have the chance to study in their own time and especially for free. It represents a great way to study many fields and to boost the level of self-motivation. Online learning is so effective because students can finish their homework quickly, and there is more time left for hobbies or for finding a job.

An access to all resources of a traditional course helps participants learn wherever they are, leaving them the freedom to choose the time for study. With basically an Internet connection, a person can attend different courses. Among the advantages of online learning there are the responsibility and self-discipline of students.

Disadvantages Of Online Learning
Only in a small group a person can develop properly. At school, students learn how to make friends, be patient, get rid of disappointment, and especially to compete. Competition between colleagues can be very stimulating and students will only benefit from it. Online learning cannot offer human interaction.

Another disadvantage refers to the fact that online courses cannot cope with thousands of students that try to join discussions. Also, online learning can be difficult, if it is meant for disciplines that involve practice.

In conclusion, online learning should be seen as a complement and extension of classical forms of learning. Not even the best online course can fully replace the personal contact with a teacher, or the human relationships that develop in a group. So, traditional classes shouldn’t be replaced with online learning.

Limbo of the Lost

Growing up you solve so many puzzles – picture puzzles, riddles, and word quizzes – so that your mind gets accustomed to questioning everything around you. This develops in you an inquisitive nature and you start to see mysteries in everyday things around you. You try to question the existence of some things and the non-existence of others. In this world full of mysteries, one such mystery is that of the Bermuda Triangle.

bermuda

Also known as the Devil’s Triangle, the Bermuda Triangle is a section of the Atlantic Ocean, roughly bounded by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Mythical literature revels in the stories of ghost ships, of airplanes disappearing forever, and of instruments going haywire around the Bermuda Triangle. But these are just fanciful theories; there is no solid proof that these types of mysterious disappearances occur less in the other well-traveled sections of the ocean than they do in the Bermuda Triangle. As a matter of fact, there are many people who navigate the Bermuda Triangle on a daily basis without any incident. So why do we still think of Bermuda Triangle as an unsolved mystery?

Covering about 500,000 square miles of the ocean, the area was sailed through by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage. He reported that a great flame of fire crashed into the sea which was probably a meteor. Also, his observations about the erratic compass readings could be explained by the fact that at that time a sliver of the Bermuda Triangle was one of the few places on earth where the true north and the magnetic north aligned together.

Reports of unexplained disappearances started capturing people’s interest around the early twentieth century when the USS Cyclops, a 542-meter long navy ship with 300 men and thousands of ton of manganese onboard, sank somewhere between Barbados and the Chesapeake Bay in 1918. Although they were equipped to do so, the Cyclops never sent an SOS distress call and the extensive search yielded no wreckage.

After that, an alleged pattern started to form when five navy bombers carrying 14 got severely lost in the area in 1945. The nave bombers were forced to ditch at sea when they ran low on fuel. A rescue plane with 13 men also disappeared while searching for them. Even a weeks-long investigation failed to turn up any evidence.

triangle

In a 1946 magazine article, author Vincent Gaddis coined the phrase “Bermuda Triangle” for the first time after which it became a sensational legend with reports of planes going down despite having just sent “all’s well” messages. Paranormal writers blamed the triangle’s lethality on everything from aliens and Atlantis to time warps and reverse gravity fields while scientific theories, on the other hand, pointed to magnetic anomalies, waterspouts, and methane gas eruptions from the ocean floor.

In all probability, however, many don’t recognize the Bermuda Triangle as a hazardous place. There is no single theory that solves the mystery but there has been nothing discovered indicating the casualties were a result of anything other than physical harm. No extraordinary factors have ever been identified.

How to manage bullies and take actions against bullying at educational institutions…..

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose. In some way or the other almost everyone of us has undergone bullying. A major question to be asked is that, Due to what reasons do people bully?

Bullying is of various kinds such as verbal, social, and physical bullying. And now another dimension is added to the list called cyber bullying. Bullying can occur during or after school hours. While most reported bullying happens in the school building, a significant percentage also happens in places like on the playground or the bus. It can also happen travelling to or from school, in the youth’s neighborhood, or on the Internet.

Verbal Bullying:- It means writing and saying mean things about someone. It may include, teasing, name calling, inappropriate sexual comments, taunting, and threatening to cause harm.

Social Bullying:- It is also known as relational bullying, it means hurting someone’s reputation or relationships. It may include, leaving someone out on purpose, telling other children not to be friends with someone, spreading rumors about someone, and embarrassing someone in public.

Physical Bullying:- It means hurting a person’s body or possessions. It may include, hitting, kicking, pinching, spitting, tripping, pushing, taking or breaking someone’s things, and making mean or rude hand gestures.

Cyber Bullying:- It is bullying using electronic means. It is also know as online bullying. It has become increasingly common, especially among teenagers, as the digital sphere has expanded and technology has advanced.

Effects of Bullying:-

Bullying can affect everyone—those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying. Bullying is linked to many negative outcomes including impacts on mental health, substance use, and suicide. It is important to talk to kids to determine whether bullying—or something else—is a concern. Kids who are bullied can experience negative physical, school, and mental health issues. Kids who are bullied are more likely to experience:

  • Depression and anxiety, increased feelings of sadness and loneliness, changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest in activities they used to enjoy. These issues may persist into adulthood.
  • Health complaints
  • Decreased academic achievement—GPA and standardized test scores—and school participation. They are more likely to miss, skip, or drop out of school.

A very small number of bullied children might retaliate through extremely violent measures. In 12 of 15 school shooting cases in the 1990s, the shooters had a history of being bullied.

How to manage Bullies:-

  1. Tell your parents or someone you trust about the bullying. Tell your parents the entire thing, they will surely help.
  2. Report bullying and victimization incidents to the school authorities or complain committee.
  3. Talk openly about bullying and don’t be afraid to speak up.
  4. Avoid bullies wherever you are and feel good about yourself.
  5. If someone is bullying you, don’t bully them back. Always stand tall and have composure.

How to take actions against Bullying:-

  1. Establishing an Internal Complains Committee (ICC) in every institution.
  2. Speaking up against bullying.
  3. Stay with people you trust. Avoid those places with higher risks.
  4. Getting help. Remaining quit will not help. Report as soon as possible.

Hence, bullying is wrong and will not stop. It is us who needs to stand strong against bullying, because those who judge will never understand, and those who understand will never judge.

How to become a SUCCESSFUL person

Want to be a successful person? Trying hard but still didn’t get the thing for what you deserve for? If yes , then trust me this article will change your life. You will be motivated enough after reading this article. You all questions are answered in this article. So without wasting more time let’s start this wonderful article..!

Pressure

Believe me or not, but most of suicide cases are just because of this so called society pressure! What society think about us? What my parents do if, I fail? This are the common things that we think about in our daily life. Half of our failure is because of taking excessive pressure. but, ever you think what actually happen if you fail ? the answer is ‘Nothing’ no one actually put you in jail because of your own failure. No-one actually cares about failure. they just want an interesting topic to do gossip. and nothing else . At last its your failure. you have to understand that’s success and failure is all part of life.

Procrastination

We always avoid the work by saying that “we will do it tomorrow”. is that tomorrow ever come ? No because the next say the same cycle goes on. so the main thing is how we can avoid delaying our home-work, assignments and studies? the simple solution is to plan the things on time. Try to do things on time. make a Schedule. and also if it doesn’t work then stand up in the front of the mirror and ask yourself that “what you are actually doing” i know that sounds stupid but trust me it helps a lot. Daily analysing yourself and your work is the best key for success.

Stop Comparing

we compare ourself with others with no logic or clue. comparing will either lead to over-confidence or under confidence . By comparing yourself with other , you are doubting on your own capabilities. No one is perfect in the world. Your class topper or boss has also face a failure in his/her life. So stop comparing yourself because you are unique addition of yourself.

Change your Lifestyle

We all in our childhood learned a famous poem –

” Early to Bed , Early to Rise

Makes a man Healthy, wealthy and wise”

do this poem really applicable in our daily life right now? with this new era of full of netflix, hotstar and amazon prime , we have forgotten the value of time. we sleep late , wake up late, then how do we can expect a right thing from our late starting day..? bitter but truth..!! waking up early not only start our day with full of energy but also give us sufficient time to analyse ourself.

Do Smart Work

Gone are the days where the key for success was hard-work. In todays world were the competition is more and vacancies are less, hard-work alone cannot give you success. As said, modern problems require modern solutions so , smart working with hard work not only make your work easier but also ensure your success. Studies shows that 20 percent of your activities will account for 80 percent of your results. This is called 80 20 Rule. This rule means that do the 20 percent of your work but ensure that 20 percent is the most important work. Thus your 80 percent work will be done by doing that 20 percent important work.

Never Give Up

We always lose hope after the first failure. But never think about the lessons that our failure has taught us. What happen if we fail.. We can try next time. we improve our mistakes next time. We became more stronger in our next attempt. We just need to try harder and harder in our next attempt. Just keep that burning desire alive until you succeed in your life.

If you seriously want to be successful than you need to understand that success doesn’t come overnight. We have to try day and night for to be successful. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckenburg, Dhirubai Ambani and all the famous and inspirational people you see, never give up in their life. they daily work hard for your goal. That’s why they are at top position. At last, always remember, Your Persistence and dedication towards your goal decide your future.

Is Digital Marketing The New Approach Companies Need To Adopt During The Times Of Covid 19?

Some issues tend to just disappear if they don’t receive our attention for a longer period of time. However, the coronavirus pandemic is a mammoth issue for the companies all over the world. It is becoming extremely troublesome to just let go of the problem for it is hugely influencing the way business is being carried out globally.

Furthermore, a lot of businessmen, managers and directors are finding it difficult to bring about a change in their marketing strategies so as to get used to this short-term “new normal”.

The possible reasons could be that they maybe still not convinced to adapt to this sense of normalcy with so much going around and them facing their own issues but whatever the reason, this is only going to lead to much bigger problems and could even result in the downfall of their respective companies.

Moreover, handshakes are being replaced by the new norms of digital marketing and remote work forces during the signing of the business deals amongst a handful of other organisations.

These dynamic companies are not only accepting the Covid-19 world with open arms but are also ramparting the need of the hour, the recession resiliency.

HOW HAVE THE BUSINESSES BEEN IMPACTED?

Despite the fact that somehow, every business has been able to keep itself intact amidst the current situation, it hasn’t been any easier for the small startups due to the lack of capital or reserves to sustain their existence especially those which were massively dependent on physical interactions like beauty salons, fashion boutiques, Health Care Centres for yoga etc.

Since these startups were habituated to getting constant customer reviews and then stimulating their growth, they are now afflicted by colossal losses to such an extent that their spontaneous takeaway on this entire situation has been to minimise the product marketing expenditure which should have otherwise been to explore much innovative methods.

All the types of businesses irrespective of their magnitude of growth can easily extract benefits out of digital marketing. The only thing that needs to be done is to bring about a small change in the route of reaching their customers i.e by making business accounts on social media to ensure the prolonged survival of their businesses.

Because customers are in immediate need of all sorts of products but they cannot step out of their homes so the only way to flourish is by doing business digitally.

THE FIRST STEPS TO CARRYING OUT A BUSINESS ONLINE

In the pre Covid era, every customer was well aware of the the “best” that every local business had to offer. Now as we take the present situation into consideration, some of these local businesses have been shutdown after being categorised as “non essential”. Also, the customers are not informed that whether or not they can still continue to buy products from their local favorites as there is a huge question mark on them being still in business.

So now this is the time that these affected startups and local businesses grab most of the opportunity and make this bold decision to step out from the confining walls of their stores and expose themselves to new horizons by establishing their accounts on social media and connecting with customers all over.

 CONNECTING WITH CUSTOMERS

Given below are enlisted three steps which are crucial in springing up that link between the buyer and the seller and keeping the momentum going to ensure the business continuity and also building strong connections by adhering to the technological aspects of the process.

1) The first email: If the delivery of products like milk, groceries etc has been affected by Covid 19, the business should make an effort to inform its customers via Email or WhatsApp briefing about the new changes.

2) ‎Updating about post-corona functioning on existing platforms: Businesses who already own emails or other digital communication facilities should inform their customers about the new methoods of operation.

3) ‎ Making announcements: Lastly, a public post on social media needs to be made regarding the resuming of online orders while also briefing about how their business is responding to the pandemic.

P.S~ This is a highly detailed research report that I have done on this topic and hence this is just PART 1 of it so that it doesn’t become too lengthy or monotonous.
Next part would be published soon.

This enlarged building measuring 110 meters in length and only 15 meters in-breath is built during the reign of Ghiyathuddin Khalji (1469 – 1500).

This palace is named as Jahaz Mahal or ship palace because it stands with the two water bodies on either side of it, Munj Talao on the west and the Kapur Talao on the east. This gives it a ship-like structure.

It is a double-storeyed tower to a height of 9.7 meters. The ground floor of the palace has three large halls. Each of the halls has balconies over to look at the Munj Talao.

The western side of central houses a large balcony, a domical ceiling. It offers mesmerizing views of the Munj Talao extending up to the Royal Palace in the south and Jal Mahal in the southeast.

The terrace provides great views of the Royal Complex in the northern part of the Citadel of Mandu.

On the east are great views of Kapur Talao, with the Taveli Mahal on its southern side. On the west us Munj Talao with the Royal Palace to the north and the Jal Mahal on the northeast.

A beautiful picture of Hindola Mahal : Swinging palace

Hindola Mahal means “swinging palace” is a great tourist attraction place in Mandu. It is built in 1425 C.E. during the rule of Hoshang Shah. It was later modified in the 15th century under the rule of Ghiyasuddin Khilji.

The T-shaped building with a transverse projection towards the north has sloping walls which give it the name Hindola Mahal.

The Darbar halls of Ghiyasuddin Khilji can be seen in the palace, which is also known as the royal court of the sultan.

The Mahal was constructed from sandstone with exquisitely carved columns with the provision of hot and cold water connected with the rooms situated underground.

Palace of Roopmati and Bazbahadur

Bazbahadur palace

Bazbahadur palace which reveals the love story of poet Roopmati and king Bazbahadur. It was built in 1509.

A scenic view of Roopmati palace

Roopmati Mahal lies to the south of Bazbahadur’s palace. Bazbahdur got fascinated by the melodious voice of Roopmati and offered to marry her. She agreed to marry on a condition that she would stay in such a place from where she would be able to view the palace of Bazbahadur as well as flowing Narmada because she used to pay homage to the river before having her food.

hence Roopmati Mahal was built undee the reign of Bazbahadur for his beloved wife.

It provides the view of the Bazbahadur Mahal and the River Narmada as a slivery shimmering line in the Nimar plains.

Bazbahadur was later defeated in a battle and fled from the battlefield. Roopmati committed suicide after consuming poison. The balladeers of Malwa still tell you their story.

Hoshang Shah’s Tomb

Hoshang Shah Tomb

It is said to be an inspiration for the Taj Mahal, it is built of white marble in its entirety. It is also said that this was the first marble structure of India. The elegant structure embraces Afghan art and architecture along with intricate lattice work and a well constructed dome. Hoshang Shah, being a dominant figure and a daredevil of his time, definitely ensured that he was laid down in style.

Your Self Care package for mental health is here!

  • Diet and Nutrition

A healthy diet is the most fundamental thing for maintaining your mental health. Considering that our brain and body function due to the food we ingest, metabolize, and reallocate within ourselves, it makes perfect sense that what we eat also must influence our biochemistry, which is a substantial part of mental health. Well, that doesn’t justify gorging on greasy pizzas because it’s your ‘comfort food’. However, let’s rumble things up in the kitchen. For that continuous, bovine like chewing habits, have dry fruits, oranges, strawberries, grapes and kiwis. Those greens like kale and spinach that makes a retching build up in your gut is rich in Vitamin B6, vital for converting tryptophan into serotonin, a neurotransmitter that plays a primary role in mood, learning, appetite and impulse control. Another way of amping your diet is up is adding a fash of quinoa to that Gram-worthy bowl of salad, as studies have found a flavonoid in quinoa has a significant anti-depressant effect. And probably, indulge in some really tantalizing Dark Chocolate delight for dessert.

  • Exercise

‘Exercising and staying fit’ is the most common New Year’s resolution. Surely, how the events that have unfolded were quite unprecedented and there’s much energy spent in gasping at a new development every single day, however maintaining your inner peace and sanity during these tumultuous times is vital. Regular exercise can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, and boosts your overall mood. Exercising also increases the lungs’ vital capacity and releases endorphins, which keeps your mood great and people wonder if it’s humanly possible to stay chipper without the morning cup of coffee.

  • Sleep

The relationship between sleep and mood is complex, because disrupted sleep can lead to emotional changes, clinical depression or anxiety (as well as other psychiatric conditions), but these conditions can also compound or further disrupt sleep. In fact, altered sleep patterns are a hallmark of many mental health issues. If you find yourself sleeping too little or too much on a regular basis, it’s important to bring this up with your doctor so the two of you can look at your total physical and mental health picture and decide if further tests or a treatment plan is necessary. Sleep deprivation can leave you feeling irritable and exhausted in the short-term, but it can also have serious long-term health consequences including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and depression. And someday those healthy sleep habits would would be a golden ticket to Spain’s Siesta Championship.

Major Earthquake May Rock Delhi

From last some days, Delhi is suffering from earthquakes. As experts of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad’s department of applied of geophysics and seismology department said that Delhi and the National Capital Regio(NCR) may see a major earthquake in the coming days.
P K Khan, professor of the institute’s applied geophysics department said ” Recurrent tremors of small magnitudes indicate a bigger earthquake”. He also said that the time has come for the union and Delhi government to take preventive measures and create awareness.
Earthquake is a most hazardous disaster which completely destroys the region in which it occurs in a high magnitude. So the government should be aware for the next coming days to prevent the area.
Khan said ” The entire region of Delhi NCR experienced 64 tremors with magnitude ranging between 4.0 and 4.5 and eight with 5.0 and above over the last two years, which shows an increase in the accumulation of strain energy in the region, particularly near Delhi and Kangra”. 11 tremors from the total were felt in the region in the last two months with the latest near Noida on June 3.
Khan alson said ” NCR is just 370 Km from Kangra and 260 Km from Uttarkashi, which is known for severe earthquakes and a bigger earthquake in this fault line is bound to affect NCR”. The witness of earthquakes are Chamba and Dharmashala near Kangra, which has experienced earthquakes of magnitude 6.3 and 7.5 in 1945 and 1905.
Although the clustering of the recent seismicity is relatively small and apparently an area of quiescence is noted in Garhwal near Uttarkashi, it has witnessed earthquakes of 7.7 magnitude in 1803 and 6.8 magnitude in 1991. In the present times of increasing urban densification and failure of governments in making builders adhere to earthquake prevention rules, a tremor of a higher magnitude can prove to be catastrophic for the NCR, Khan opined.
He said seismicity is also being clustered along the strike of the Delhi-Haridwar Ridge (DHR) and the relative plate movement has been recorded at 44mm per year which should be a matter of concern for all.Still there is no prediction modal for earthquakes available, the Earthquake Early Warning System (EEWS) designed on previous azimuth and slowness based algorithm is a must for Delhi and NCR. Delhi government should always be alert of earthquakes. No prediction device is still found, so prevention is better idea for it.
