Call of Duty Mobile overtakes PUBG Mobile to surpass 250 million downloads worldwide

Call of Duty Mobile, which is the smartphone version of the popular game Call of Duty, was released on 1 October 2019, immediately breaking all records by raking up 150 million downloads in the first month itself.

Now, according to new estimates by Sensor Tower, Call of Duty Mobile has surpassed 250 million-plus downloads. This includes installs of all of the game’s versions across the world. Which means that since the October launch, Call of Duty Mobile has surpassed 250 million downloads.

Call of Duty Mobile most popular in the US

In terms of popularity, Call of Duty Mobile has been most popular in United States, where it has seen nearly 45 million downloads, or close to 18 percent the total number. India is the No 2 country for downloads, with Brazil coming in at 3.

“Till date, COD: mobile has raked around 327 million USD in player spending, this is 78 percent more than the amount generated by PUBG Mobile worldwide during the same period, after it began monetising in April 2018, and about 83 percent of what was spent in the iOS version of Fortnite in the same duration post-launch,” — Sensor Tower

Call of Duty Mobile is available to download on both Android and iOS devices for free. The game offers different maps and modes, including a 100-player battle royale battleground, fast 5v5 team death matches and sniper vs sniper battles. The game is is developed by TiMi Studios, and published by Activision.

“COD: Mobile saw its second-highest revenue of 53 million USD in May which is 62 percent more than its revenue in Jan and only second to its launch month of October where it earned around 55 million USD.The U.S.A is leading with $134 million revenue from player spending or 41 percent of the total revenue. Japan ranks No. 2 for revenue, while Brazil is No. 3 by this metric,” Sensor Tower added.

Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 Tournament was also announced back in April, as was a partnership between Activision Blizzard and Sony Mobile Communications. The event features more than $1 million in total prize money, which includes both cash and in-game rewards.

This is, however, far lesser than what PUBG Mobile announced for its 2020 equivalent, which is 5 million USD. PUBG Mobile has also regularly been creating hype by hosting tournaments with massive prize pools, even at the regional level. It remains to be seen how long it takes before Call of Duty Mobile comes close to these prize numbers as well.

BLACK MAGIC

Black magic in layman’s term ,is the use of magic/supernatural power for evil purposes. We  need to understand that black magic  is nothing but energy. Energy could be either divine or evil. It’s up to us how we take it. A beautiful example of this is electricity. Electricity is used by us for our daily life  purposes like cooling, heating, etc ,while on the  other hand it can be also be used for giving electric shocks to people in order to torture them.

The Story

A house in my neighbourhood which was reportedly rumoured haunted, had been shut for years. Until recently when a small family of four people moved into the city. It was only  after  a few days of stay, that they’d seen a skull on their door, filled with blood. As expected ,it scared the hell out of them and tried contacting the local “tantriks”, suspecting it could be a case of black magic. The tantrik visited the place, and said it’s been surrounded by negative spirits. All this eventually led to the downfall of the family ,as they got affected badly and faced a financial crisis. As a solution to the problem, he demanded Rs.50000 to perform the rituals. Months passed by, but when the family condition didn’t improve, they decided to shift. Later to the amusement of  all, it  was found that this was a prank played by the teenagers in neighbourhood. It was not because of the  black magic, but because of getting psychological affected that their condition deteriorated.

A lot of people may think that West Bengal is the hotspot, but looking to the number of rising cases of black magic in Kerala, it can be called a rumour. In order to curb the growing number of black magic cases in Kerala and to spread awareness across the country  ,they brought “The Anti-Superstition And Black Magic” bill. The basic right of people were exploited, specially menstruating girls who were isolated in name of Black Magic. According to the bill, anyone doing anything in name of black magic would be punishable by law. The penalty under the offence is imprisonment up to 1 year, or a fine ranging from Rs. 5000 to Rs.1 lakh .In case of death ,it would be reported under the section 300 of IPC. The popular tantriks of kerala have agents, who have their packages planned for clients.

Not a lot of people are aware that lately, Bengaluru is in the process of being the next hub of Black Magic ,besides being known as the “IT Capital of India”. It’s common not only in the corporate culture, but also amongst the lovers. Owing to the high demand, people are ready to pay  anything sum of amount. Black magic do exist, but to some extent. There is not much science behind it though. It could only affect us to some extent, the rest is up to us. If we’re mentally and physically string we can easily overcome ,without coming under pressure. Black magic can even be used for positive purposes like transforming lives, health. However, in a country like India where people are influenced by age old sayings, the negative influence is more than the positive influence. We can however protect ourselves from black magic,be focusing on the right type of energy.

Women and Agriculture

Agriculture in India, contributing about 15.5 per cent of GDP, is a female intensive activity. In a typical rural-agro household, women pursue multiple livelihood strategies often managing complex issues. Her activities vary from performing multiple farm operations for producing the crops, rearing animals, and preparing food to work for wages in agricultural or other rural enterprises, collecting fuel and water, engaging in trade and marketing, caring for family members and maintaining their homes. Though national account does not classify many of this economically active employment they are vital and essential to the well-being of rural households.
The Agriculture Census, 2015–16 has revealed a very promising trend. The census established that the share of female operational holders has increased from 12.79 per cent in 2010–11 to 13.87 per cent in 2015–16. In terms of the operated area, the share of women increased from 10.36 per cent to 11.57 per cent. This signifies that more and more females are participating in the management and operation of agricultural lands.

Agriculture and Female Employment

The central role in all operations of agriculture and even rural household management is played by women. They are involved in all aspects of agriculture, from crop and seed selection to harvest and post-harvest management, marketing, and processing. According to estimates, the agricultural sector employs about 4/5th of all economically active women. Women have a clear edge in dairying and animal husbandry also.
Close to 75 million women are engaged in dairying and 20 million in animal husbandry against 15 million men in dairying and 1.5 million in animal husbandry. Nevertheless, the percentage of female engaged in agriculture has been sizeable at 54.6percent in 2019 against 39.5 per cent of male. The contribution of female workers and farmers has been much larger in agriculture and allied activities than men. The withdrawal of women and men workforce from agriculture is a welcome move due to the empowerment of women through better education, alternative employment opportunities and access to rights and resources, etc.
In a developing nation like ours where urbanization is becoming a social development order, the large number of women needs to move out from agriculture to join services and industrial sector. When examining that of the participation of men, the decline is comparatively lower to that of women.
Women have been instrumental in agricultural development and rural prosperity.
Rural women play a vital role not only in crop planning and cultivation but also in high-value activities like horticulture, primary food processing, livestock rearing, fisheries and cottage industries.
Although women have been contributing dominantly in the rural labour force, they are marginalised and disadvantaged in wages, land rights and representation in group activities. Women have very limited access to productive resources which consequently limits their productivity. Somehow, the needs and aspirations of the women labour force could not get true focus in the rural development initiatives in the past.

Summing Up

Several out of box initiatives of the Government for skills development, subsidised loans for businesses led by women, recent legislation doubling maternity leave, and childcare facilities in companies that employ more than 50 people will have the far-reaching impact on women empowerment and give a boost to India’s economy. The number of women in the total workforce in India is only 27 per cent, and more seriously, almost 20 million women had withdrawn from the workforce during 2005 and 2012. On a global landscape, India ranked 120th among 131 countries so far as women workforce participation is concerned. Adding to woe is the worsening state of gender-based violence in India.

HUMANIZING VICTIMS OF SEX TRAFFICKING

Immanuel Kant’s Moral philosophy is credited for emphasizing the importance of human life and treating them as an end in themselves. In his doctrine, he specifically says quote-unquote ” It is not appropriate to use persons as though they were things purely at our disposal and without a will of their own”. While we ponder upon this and implement this in our daily life can the same be said about the victims of sex trafficking? Should they also be valued as having human worth? The sex trafficking racket is a discreet booming industry with a network ranging from your local neighborhood to the various cartels functioning over the world. These victims are not only assigned a value in terms of money but also seen as a commodity to be used at the abuser’s pleasure. Surveys conducted around the world show that the average age of trafficked victims to be between 18-34 with the predators targeting children at a mere age of 9-18. These helpless victims are lured with the promise of stable income, marriage, and emotionally manipulated into being dependent on their traffickers. With the onset of globalization, it was safe to assume that it would lead to the availability of goods world over but nobody could foresee that human beings could also be trafficked and sold like goods in the same manner. The critically acclaimed readers digest which is well known for its inspirational real-life stories reported one such incident in which a gutsy young woman helped rehabilitate the sex workers in her village area and gave them stable jobs. When interviewed about the motive behind her actions she said quote-unquote” They are not just girls. They are my daughters”.These women are treated as an outcast and shunned by society, the very same society in which they were born ultimately disowned them. These hard-hitting facts were revealed to the public sometime in 2008. She even has opened Astha Nivas, a children’s home to shelter the victims of sexual exploitation who are as young as three. This empowering real-life story is about none other than Sunitha Krishnan, a social activist, and Padma Shri awardee. BBC was accounted for interviewing the case of a young Indonesian woman Shandra Woworuntu who was caught in this sex trafficking industry after being deceived by her traffickers. She started an organization, Mentari, which helps survivors reintegrate into the community, and connects them to the job market. These victims go through severe trauma and some even keep on reliving their painful past day after day. “It’s hard to be accepted by the society” “We were treated as commodities before but now we are given even worse treatments” are some of the dilemmas these helpless victims have to face. It is because of some of these brave hearts like Sunitha Krishnan and Shandra Woworuntu that these young girls are given a second chance at life. The present situation is far grimmer. Because of the rising pandemic, these victims of sex trafficking have it worse. With no means to get a job nor have access to necessities, some of them revert to the sex industry to make ends meet. Their only source of help now remains with the NGOs which strive to help get them out of the murky waters.

2020:- A tragic year.

A ‘New year’ is something which gives hope to the new things, the coming year people put in positive vibes all over. They put up with the new year resolutions and same was with this year too..some may follow, others might not!   January seemed to be pretty good at start. Atleast here in India. The nation wide festival of sankranti was celebrated beautifully, the sky was filled with colourful kites. Everyone seemed joyous and happy. Later then the hype was spreaded all over about the delhi riots over the topic CAA and NRC. People were protesting like anything in the capital city. Protest got worse and worse and no one was ready to tie up the things.

Now came the turn of February. The government of India came to know about the virus which was not crucial back then. Citizens were not aware of the situation of the outbreak of the Novel coronavirus which was originated from China-Wuhan. Indians from the foreign countries started returning back to the India. There the people were cautious about the virus but were not sure that that might turn into a horrible and deadly virus in the coming days.

In march The WHO addressed the virus as ‘pandemic’ which was soon be spreading all over the world. Wuhan recorded the highest number of cases and then Italy was suffering. Situation turned so bad that nation wide lockdown was introduced. It was the first country to introduce. Soon India was hit by this pandemic too and after a one day public curfew, we also were introduced to the nationwide lockdown. For this generation it is really tough to sit all day long at home without mingling. But people succeeded doing this. The IPL which was scheduled to take place at the end of the march was postponed. The economy reduced drastically. GDP is expected to reach 0. Unemployment is hitting hard. Only the groceries or the medication stores seemed to have hike in their profits. People spitting on doctors, on ordinary people’s to let them suffer through this virus. Those suffering through this virus has beem running from the hospital’s.

April about to start, here comes the news of delhi being hit by earthquake. Not once neither twice but 3 times delhi was hit by earthquake, along with UP. Everything has stopped until now. Sitting at home became the only choice for people.

May(month) in the process. News came of Irfan khan passed due to rare cancer, before 10-12 days his mother passes away. The next day the news came of passing of Rishi Kapoor…after the immediate days, Vizag gas leak in vishakhapatnam in the early morning was reported. On the similar day news of gas leak at paper mill industry in Raigargh, chattisgarh reported. And lastly the boiler explosion at neyveli lignite corporation thermal power station in tamil nadu showed up. Also, the train ran all over the migrants out of which 14 were dead. People were wandering about what more is left to hit to get situation worsened. But this doesn’t seemed to stop right away, The cyclone ‘amphan’ was to be hit harder near West bengal, Odisha, and Bangladesh. Massive damage was done and its yet to be recovered. Locusts attacked in various cities of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Fire broke out in various cities.

The current month June…Cases of this pandemic is rising day by day. India ranked at 5th place to have the maximum cases. After the 2 weeks of the june, News came of our beloved actor Mr. Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide out of depression, Lost another talented star. God surely has the deficiency of stars in the sky…! Later India and Nepal ran into the disputes. Amid the coronavirus pandemic people are still struggling over the land. China and India broke out having war over the borders despite of suffering through this pandemic. Now the capital city is at high alert as the terrorists broke into the cities…!!

Don’t know what more is coming our way. Live your life to the fullest even if you are at home. Don’t criticise as I only wrote bad news here because the topic I chose is only about the tragedies we are suffering through!!

Stay home stay safe…Be positive!! We are introduced to the vaccination.

Why Netflix and chill, when we can Ramayana and chill

It was 24th of the March, 2020, a disastrous year for all of us; when our honourable Prime Minister declared a complete lockdown for three devastating weeks, and eighteen year old heart of mine just sank off wondering, searching, lost as to how will I be able to make the time fly to sink back into beer and skittles.

But then! remembering that all I need to do is just not to attend any family meeting about abundance of topics, just stick with the most amazing invention of human civilization, mobile phone, and Netflix and chill with a large number of web series in a row which were unseen earlier. Watching every series, one after the another in a row and chilling more than what I planned for, from Money Heist, Resurrection, Lelia, little things to every single show, talking and sticking to every social media platform, after all the fatigue, finally got to be in the middle of people who were gonna just bully me and talk about all the time I waste when I can actually sit back sincerely and watch television. The shows that are being retelecasted after such a long were forced on me, as if they were hanging me on a new job.

Continuously watching the serial for two, three, and even four days, I couldn’t help but watch it with all of the world’s courosity, it actually made me indulge in itself. The dialogues, the characters, the picturization, every “damn” thing, so to say seemed so realistic to me that it grabbed my whole attention to it. And I can’t actually find another suitable way, just to Ramayana and chill. Obviously, it is one of the holiest books ever written in Indian history, besides that, the actual picturization just revived every thing that was long and lost somewhere in the past. Be it Shri Ram or the Ravaana, each and every character had to say something, had to convey something that is really worth praising, watching for.

Ending up with all its episodes, it really felt that, sometimes the best way to live today is by learning from yesterday. That made me realise, and I think all of us must have realised till now, one thing,

Old never gets old, and new always remains new.

It is always our generation that is stuck and bored using every modern day technology and comfort, while those who have always been living with their customs stick with them, can never, but cherish every day of their healthy lives.

BED- FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Happiness is sleeping undisturbed till you wake up naturally and that is why I am here for you to make it real. For that we provide more facility than a room actually needs. As per sleepys hybrid mattress review, from a shiny floor with mattress to wall mounted wardrobe that is made of good furniture. We always try our best so that we can make it feel like heaven for you. With the small wooden compartments that are above the ground so that you can keep your things and to give it a modern touch so that you can “live today, plan tomorrow and party tonight”

Simplicity is the key note to all true elegance. That is why i always tries its best for you. Today we came up with the new idea of wardrobe which is open, not like the other wardrobes which have large doors. A room should never allow the eye to settle in one place, it should smile at you and create a fantasy world for you. This wardrobe will not only reduce the working space but gives a “luxury finish” to your house because the essence of “interior design” will always be about people and how they live, it is about the realities of what makes of attractive, civilized and a meaningful environment, not about the fashion or what’s in or what’s out

The kitchen is one’s shrine, the cook is the priest, the table is their altar and their belly is their god. The kitchen is one of the most utilised among all the places in the house which has to be fully functional and organised. That is why I always came up with the idea of open kitchen. One of the best ways to give a modern design to your kitchen is by using a completely white cabinets and lighting which would make your kitchen look neat. We provide a large surface in the kitchen which will provide you enough space for food preparation. Lower kitchen cabinets which are made of wood will provide a luxury finish to the kitchen and floor papers matching your kitchen cabinets which will give you an environmental feel while working.

How to purchase material in market:-
There are only two possibilities when you at your interiors of a house and for that you must have some choosy style in yourself.
First of all we have to see what material has to be used in designing, whether it is wood, natural stone, ceramic, glass etc.
Secondly we have to see for what part of house we are using it that is whether it is lobby, living room, washroom console etc.
Then we see towards that who is their manufacturer, whether it is Marca corona, caino, cleaf or bolon.
Then the role is played by the designer that is either Erin adams, angelo ferrucci or ABVA
Then we see the availability of the product that we are assuming to be used in our home
Thank you for today

Today’s need TO preserve the environment

Pollution is one of the evils brought about by the growth of science and technology. The undesirable change in the properties of nature is called pollution. It harms the health and life of humans. The man is responsible for pollution by adding impurities into the air, water, and soil. By polluting air, we polluting our breath. Our health depends on the quality of the air we breathe. Factories and industries let out the smoke. Toxic gases found in the smoke that pollutes the air. The intake of polluted air causes diseases like lung cancer, asthma, and nervous disorders. Due to pollution, the ozone layer gets depleted. It results in an entry of harmful ultraviolet radiation into the earth causing diseases like skin cancer. water gets polluted when toxic and acidic wastes are disposed of into it. This will certainly contaminate water. These will cause diseases such as jaundice, typhoid, cholera, dysentery etc. Unpleasant and loud sounds which make discomfort is called Noise pollution. It will cause psychological tension, nervousness. Land pollution is caused by the accumulation of non-degradable pollutants such as plastics, polythene bags etc. And lead to lost its fertility.

The first and foremost step is to create awareness about the harmful effects of pollution. Factories should adopt strict pollution control measures. The use of non-conventional energy sources such as solar energy and wind energy should be encouraged. Bio-fertilizers must be used in agriculture. Deforestation should totally be stopped. Green plants are to be cultivated around the industries. This will ensure not only the reduction of noise pollution but also render fresh air. Unless some measures are taken to control pollution at its source, the pollutants will certainly pose a hazard to human health or threaten the efficiency of agricultural production. Pollution-free society will be the best legacy that we can hand down to posterity.
