The 1600 Year Old Rust Free: The Iron Pillar of Delhi

An unsolved mystery, the IRON PILLAR OF DELHI now standing at Quwwatul mosque at Mehrauli in Delhi, India. The 7.21 meters tall structure all most 1600-year-old stands completely rust-free. The pillar was constructed by “King Chandra” probably Chandragupta2

Iron Pillar Of Delhi

pillar was certainly used as a trophy in building the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque and the Qutb complex, its original location, whether on the site itself or from elsewhere, is debated. The Iron pillar of Delhi is one of the most curious metal objects in the world. It was manufactured by the forge welding of pieces of wrought iron. In a report published in the journal Current Science, R. A critical corrosion-resistant agent called iron hydrogen phosphate hydrate makes the pillar resistant to rusting.

Experts at the Indian Institute of Technology have resolved the mystery behind the 1,600-year-old iron pillar in Delhi, which has never corroded despite the capital’s harsh weather.
Metallurgists at Kanpur IIT have discovered that a thin layer ofmisawite“, a compound of iron, oxygen and hydrogen, has protected the cast iron pillar from rust.

The pillar bears an inscription which states that it was erected as a flagstaff in honor of the Hindu God and in the memory of the Gupta King Chandragupta II (375-413). How the pillar moved to its present location remains a mystery.

The question remains that how was such chemically advanced agent manufacture 2000 ago.

The pillar is a living testimony to the skill of metallurgists of ancient India

“Tachyons And The Question Of Their Existence”

Space travel and other space related phenomena have always fascinated mankind towards them and thus has initiated space research and various programs to probably see these with a closure reference. Many theories and researches came along those journeys which made humans believe in the possibility of space travel or even time travel. Success if our mission to the moon and landing on it gave this dream a reality  and the mission to Mars gave further hope to travel to these planets. But there were also various other theories which came up to the existence of a multiverse and parallel universe which fascinated people . But to Reach these places we had to cross the barrier which Einstein gave in his Special Theory of Relativity . States that we cannot travel at speed light as it requires enormous amounts of energy since these places were some light years ahead of us. Which brought up the possibility of a Wormhole and various other theories related to it. It gave us the description of the shortest path which we can travel without breaking the rules of general relativity

But all this research brought us to the knowledge of particles which are believed to have speed equal to or more than that of light. These particles were named “Tachyons”. These are hypothetical particles which are believed to exist in our universe travelling with the speed faster than that of light. Since we know through general relativity that the speed of light is the highest speed which anything can have and travel with . The theory relates to the fact that “if any object is travelling initially slower than the speed of light, then it could not travel with the speed of light in any way possible”. It is observed in some smaller particles like photons which do travel with the speed of light and thus also always travel with the same speed. There must exist a possibility of particles which do travel with the speed greater than light and thus always travels at greater speed.

Thus Tachyons can be considered as particles which have properties and characteristics different from the ones we acknowledge in our surrounding and our research work. This is because of their higher speed. So the main properties which may be present in these particles could be that “while solving the mathematical equation, the rest mass or the proper length or the proper lifestyle would be considered imaginary”. Confused. Let’s see an example.

1.In special relativity theory, we get relative mass by the formula:

m= m°/√1-(v^2/c^2)

Where m is the object in mass and is the rest mass of the object. Since in our case Tachyons travel with more speed than light thus v>c , we will get a negative number in the square root which gives us imaginary number i. So if we keep the rest mass as an imaginary number, both the imaginary terms get canceled out and we can surely find out the solution of the equation. Similar goes with proper length and life time.

2. Also it is believed that as the speed of tachyon I will increase, energy would significantly decrease as per the “Cherenkov radiation”. Cherenkov radiation is a process which tells us that when any particle is moving with the speed greater than light in any medium, it gives out blue glow which is due to interaction and thus it may lose energy.

3. It is also believed that we can send messages to the past through Tachyons.

“But as we see through many  researches, it shows that their existence is possible and thus could be present in our surrounding space. There are many physicists who believe that their existence may not be possible, as they raise different paradoxes . But as such no physical existence of such particles have been seen in any of the experiments conducted till date. So it makes them completely Hypothetical but with the belief to be detected soon, if they do exist”.

China’s contact with extraterrestrials .What if China Find Aliens?

In times when the world is dealing with the widespread pandemic ,China is going extraterrestrial!

ALIEN discoveries could be on the horizon as China’s world’s largest telescope which could be used to “detect extraterrestrial life” has started operating again. What would it mean if China were to make the greatest discovery in human history.Chinese state media outlet Science and Technology Daily claims that the country’s FAST (Five-hundred-metre Aperture Spherical Telescope) is going to start looking for alien life, rather signals starting September 2020.

Ever since big bang theory came into existence 13.8 billion years ago, many unanswered questions about chemistry of life got meaning .Life may have emerged independently at many places throughout the universe. With years of progress in science the concept of extraterrestrial life, and particularly extraterrestrial intelligence, has had a major cultural impact, chiefly in works of science fiction. Extraterrestrial is hypothetical life which may occur outside of Earth and which did not originate on Earth. Such life might range from simple prokaryotes (or comparable life forms) to beings with civilizations far more advanced than humanity. The Drake equation speculates about the existence of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.
A new calculation predicts there could be as many as 36 intelligent alien civilizations in our galaxy.
Alien life, such as microorganisms, has been hypothesized to exist in the Solar System and throughout the universe. This hypothesis relies on the vast size and consistent physical laws of the observable universe.

Do we exist Alone in this whole Universe ?That’s a big question ! Huge .

Whenever we talk of life , generally we mean humans and Earth . What if something beyond that suddenly began to exist ? What about intelligent life ?The Universe has many unanswered questions hidden in itself . Considerations are merely a Mystery.

Located in southern China’s Guizhou province, the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST) will begin these trial operations in September 2020.FAST has a 500-meter (1,640ft) diameter, although it only ever focuses a 300m (984ft) segment on the receiver at any given moment.

Scientists are using FAST — the world’s largest single-dish radio telescope — for a variety of tasks, including to search for extraterrestrial intelligence.

Since 2016, the telescope has observed 99 signals from deep space. However, these signals proved to be fast radio bursts (FRBs).
Having the world’s largest and most powerful new radio telescope, we can receive weaker and more distant radio messages, said Wu Xiangping, director-general of the Chinese Astronomical Society, “It will help us to search for intelligent life outside of the galaxy and explore the origins of the universe,” he added underscoring the China’s race to be the first nation to discover the existence of an advanced alien civilization. The FAST telescope may give China a powerful means of transmitting radio signals that might be detected by an extraterrestrial civilization,” Michaud said.

Experts in China will be using the vast machine to scan the universe to search for life that doesn’t reside on Earth.

As the FAST telescope is so huge, it has the potential to detect even the weakest signals from the far-flung reaches of the universe.

In his 2008 novel “The Three-Body Problem,” award-winning Chinese science-fiction writer Cixin Liu painted a dark picture of what such messaging extraterrestrial intelligence (METI) signals could mean for humankind, Michaud said. “It is not yet clear whether this view is widely shared in China. Any serious effort to transmit powerful signals with the FAST radio telescope is likely to require the Chinese political leadership’s approval,” Michaud said.

The telescope will scan the skies in search of any indication an advanced civilisation of aliens may be trying to make contact with us.However, the main highlight for many science fans will be its hunt for interstellar molecules, the building blocks of life, and to detect interstellar communications signals.
Question remains on China’s quest for scientific glory and aliens will take science how far .Giant Chinese Telescope Joins the Search for Alien Radio Signals. Will it help us find an answer to the Fermi Paradox, or even those puzzling UFOs?

With this discovery,China will become the world leader in scanning the cosmos.

China Entering into Its Own Trap

We cannot expect an instant result from Chinese Diplomacy. Chinese are creating issues over the Ladakh border similar to the Doklam issue. Chinese want to pressurize India by this creating controversial concern over the Indo-China border. They want an economical and political deal from India. If there was no bloodbath in the past few years over India-China Border, it does not mean that they are ensuring that there will be no war, no bloodbath in future. China is unable to answer COVID-19. Therefore, China is trying to create conflict in Asia and distract attention from COVID-19. The Chinese government has no answers why did not they provide actual information of COVID-19 beginning. Why there was a delay in this process? Why is China silent about the assassination of the Li-Weinliang, a whistleblower of COVID-19? Corona has created problems for the Indian economy along with the world.

In recent times, China has raised concern in the Galwan. China will not gain profit by war. There must be one more reason behind Chinese activity that insecurity of Kashgar Gwadar Road passing from POK which constructed under the BRI program. India’s policy over PoK never liked by the Chinese government. China never tries to understand Indian points of view over the abrogation of Article 370 and PoK. These are the reason that is China present this issue as a problematic step taken by the Indian government in the UN.

The Global Times, a Chinese newspaper claims that China has sent its troops in Galwan valley due to road construction by Indian soldier. This action has taken under the violation of border control activity. But the construction of roads and bridges were active for a long time ago. In reality, the action taken by the Chinese government is not for the building of roads and bridges in the valley it was for the changing diplomatic nature of the Indian government.
In 1193 and a later agreement was agreed to maintain peace on the border, but even after Indian efforts, China did not agree to mark the ceasefire line. A broad area on the borderline has considered as a border zone in which both parties were patrolling. In this way, China is ignoring the understanding developed by the 1993 agreement. China avoids border demarcation so that it can create a situation of dispute but China, which has brought Pakistan parallel to India, now sees that after Doklam, the thinking of new India has changed. China is amazed to see the rapid increase in the strength and armed forces against the Chinese challenges. If the war happened, then China’s international image will become dusty. If China had to compromise, then he would appear like Joker in the world.

The world stands at the cusp of a new Cold War. China is not the Soviet Union before 1980 that was competing with America. In this cold war, no one has seen with China except North Korea, Pakistan and Iran. This time is the defining time for India. The security of Himalayan borders is no longer the only responsibility of India. Today the world knows the reality of China that it can do anything for its supremacy.

Circular economy and sustainability

Iceclog: Profitable shift to Circular Economy for Manufacturers ...

The industrial revolution and the rise of a capitalistic society have, in a short period of time, changed our planet and our lives. Overconsumption stands at the foundation of modern society and has brought along climate change and its string of environmental hazards and social issues. Overpopulation and growing demand for goods result in mind-boggling volumes of waste as well as air, soil and water pollution with high negative impacts on human and ecosystem health.

A circular economy works quite differently. Products and services in a circular economy are designed in a way that allows them to be reused, either in the biological or technical cycles. All products are manufactured in a way so they can be disassembled and materials will either be broken down by nature or returned to production. Biological material therefore consists of non-toxic, clean feeds and technical materials are designed to be a resource to be used industrially again. The goal is to throw nothing away and to reduce the need for purchasing new commodities, while production and transportation is best achieved with renewable energy.

The circular economy is a markedly different way to do business, forcing companies to rethink everything from how to design and manufacture products to their relationships with customers. One of the biggest differences is the customer’s role. The focus is no longer on consumption, but instead on the use of a function. This places different demands on the business community to build long-term relationships in their business models. The advantage is that companies benefit from each other’s success in this cascade of different cycles.

It also brings new opportunities in infrastructure, energy and production in their adaption to fit the circular economy model. Some business models are easier than others to begin with, such as the leasing of products instead of buying (everything from jeans to trucks), companies which collect and renovate their own products and then sell them in the store in a separate department or peer-to-peer models. Companies will find new ways to extend the life of products or components, to find value in the waste, or the design of circular use.

In the end it is all about encouraging the next generations to think and design in a sustainable way as well as using circular business systems to build a better future.

IMPORTANCE OF GOOD CONTENT

Starting from a company’s inception, a strong content ensures a very strong growth. From being easily found on the web to developing as a brand, it is the content that holds your hand. But why is it the content and not anything else?

A company as a whole does not have a human face. Since the shift of media to digital platforms you have to communicate with your audience virtually, and well -structured write-up is the only icebreaker.

That being said, a write up needs to engage the reader and leave a scrumptious taste on their mind. A bland write-up shall not surprise you with little or no response.

There are many reasons why a strong content is very important throughout a brand’s journey. Here are some—

  • Makes an impression and builds trust

A good content equates to a good personality. You need to be cautious about what you delivered to your readers.

The kind of write-up you present to your audience leaves a similar mark of impression on their mind.

A well organised and errorless

presentation of words is a boldface impression of your company on which the audience decides to trust you or not.

  • Ensures your position

You can create content that is not professionally skilled, but it shall limit your stint in the market sooner or later.

Quality content can never take a backseat or the company’s drive is not likely to be very smooth.

  • Fulfills a company’s commitments

A brand has a vision and seeks to deliver it through words on its website and thus it is the responsibility of the content to fulfill the company’s commitment to the audience.

  • A major driving force in marketing and growth

A well-written article or blog includes keywords that put you up on the rung of SERPs.

Once you are good with the SEO and SERPs,  you do not need to pay for being found on the web through advertisements. The audience comes naturally through their web searches.

When you are serving something, you need to ensure that it is good. The same goes for content. The internet algorithm makes it one of the prime factors that decide your growth in the market. So yeah, it’s the content that makes you or breaks you.

HOW TO CRACK JEE

After UPSC , JEE is the most toughest exams in the country. it requires ones dedication and hard work with some pinch of smart work too. many students had a lot of questions about JEE . in this block i will answer all your questions. and also about how you can crack jee.

Is Coaching is mandatory for JEE ?

many students had a doubt in their minds about a coaching for JEE. the answer is that , it depends on you. if you think that you need a extra help or guidance in your jee preparations then join a coaching. but it is not necessary that after joining coaching you will probably succeed. i remember one of my friend who joins a popular coaching of Kota for his jee preparations but still land on a all india rank of 100,000 and plus…so coaching has not any jadibutti that after drinking you will surely succeed. it is a totally wrong concept. Cracking jee simply needs a dedication that means a regular study for atleast two hours. cracking jee solely depends on you and not on coaching.

Plan a Schedule

we know that it is hard to stick on a particular thing but preparing a fix schedule for study is the basic need for cracking a competitive exam. what you have to do is , choose any two hours from your schedule and do study regularly in those two yours. and do whatever you want to do in whole day. but just study in those two hours in a regular basis. it will surely improve your patience level.

Practice last 15 years questions paper

one of the key to succeed in any competitive exam is to practice last year papers. same applies for IIT JEE. if you regularly practice last year question paper , then you will get to know about the difficulty level of exam. practicing last 15 years question paper will be enough to crack the entrance exam. because there is enough variety in papers. mostly concepts have been repeated in the exam. always remember question can be changed but concept can’t.

Solve Conceptual problems and numericals.

In JEE, mostly questions are in the form of numericals. jee main has a simple variety of numericals but jee advanced has conceptual numericals which works on only on concept. and they are bit complex too. try to complete HC Verma for physics(both parts). it has plenty of numericals that works on concept making. Remember only concept will help you. so build your concept first. and for maths N.C.E.R.T is enough for basics and for chemistry N.C.E.R.T is like a god. once you done with all subject N.C.E.R.T textbook, then go for any higher level book.

Attempt various sample papers

suppose if you try well but didn’t succeed because you don’t know how to use computer. then that will be the worst thing for sure. so practice ample of sample questions paper on your computer. because not only JEE but all exams are usually in online mode. so make your speed on online computer and whenever you give a sample online test. make your environment like a proper jee exam hall environment. sit for proper three hours. this will surely help you in your exam.

Lastly Revise, Revise and Revise

The most and important step is to do a proper revision of what you have learned so far. forget all the things that you not study for any kind of reason just make your revision on the things that are important and also those things that you have noticed many times in previous question paper. this things would be enough for revision.

Conclusion

Anyone can crack this exam and get into the prestigious IITs . just you have to be extra cautious about your two hours study plan. don’t forget that a donkey also do hardwork . and we are humans so we have to do extra as compared to donkey. that extra is smart work.

Do your study with smart work. no need to read whole things. read the important topics many times so you will get a detailed knowledge about them that is called smart work.

always remember for the success there is a big role of confidence. your confidence alone works 50-60%. and hard work about 30%. and the rest is dedication and smart work. so be confident about your success and study religiously. If you work daily with keeping all this point in your head, then one day you will surely get the success on this timid path of JEE.

Over population: an everytime issue

The beginning of human civilization has marked a devastating change over this planet. Everything, in terms of land, natural resources, animals, water bodies were occupied by the humans at once without any apologies. The breeding and interbreeding resulted in the blast of human population over this earth. Although the spread of this deleterious wasn’t a great deal for our mother earth to handle until it became an obligation and started pulling out every single bit of it’s own resources.

The people of a country are it’s real wealth. It is they who make use of the country’s resources and decide its policies. But what could be done when the real wealth of the country becomes a real burden and starts exploiting it’s own resources?

According to researchers, the world population at the beginning of 21st century recorded the presence of over 6 billion people. But within a very few years it marked 7 billion, as compared to 1930s when it took 30 years to reach 3 billion mark.

Patterns of population distribution in the world –

There is a drastic difference in the way the world’s population is distributed on the land mass. Broadly,90 per cent of the world population lives in about 10 percent of its land area, which is in itself a big reason to worry. The 10 most populous countries of the world contribute about 60 percent of the world’s population. Namely –

  • China
  • India
  • USA
  • Indonesia
  • Brazil
  • Pakistan
  • CIS
  • Bangladesh
  • Japan
  • Nigeria

Density of population –

Each land has a limited capacity to hold a certain number of people living on it. Hence, it is necessary to understand the ratio between the number of people to the size of land.

The areas with more than 200 persons on every sq. Km. are densely populated areas (North -Eastern part of USA, North – Western part of Europe,South, South east and East Asia) as compared to those with 11-50 persons per sq. Km., these are the countries that are either developed or scarcely support human conditions, such as Western China, Southern India in Asia, Norway, Sweden. Other areas like those near North and South Poles, the hot and the cold deserts and high rainfall zones near the equator have very low density of population regions of the world with less than 01 person per sq. Km.

Though there is an availability of such a great land mass, the world’s population is congested in such a small portion of land, rather a great sign to think upon, since it not only grapples up the natural resources of a particular niche, but also creates a chaos in terms of the survival of every individual. Neglecting the fact that certain factors affect the distribution of population over the earth – geographical, economic, social and cultural – the trend in which population grows is also a large factor that has contribute towards the overburdening of the earth.

Trends in population growth –

Since the beginning of human civilization, the population change also have seen different patterns in it’s doubling time, there is a great variation among regions in doubling their population. While the population doubling time in the developed countries is more, whereas we see that the time taken by the developing countries to double their population is less, i. e. there is a negative correlation between the economic growth and population growth.

8,000 -12,000 years back the world population then was nearly 8 million. In first century A. D. it crossed over 300 million mark. Around 1750s , at the dawn of industrial revolution, the world population exploded to 550 million. It took more than a million years for the human civilization to attain 1 billion mark. But it took only 12 years for it to rise from 5 billion to 6 billion between the years 1987 and 1999.

Impact of population change –

A small increase in population is desirable in a growing economy.

However, surpassing the limits of population spurt can lead to severe problems –

  • Continuous depletion of resources
  • Increased hatred among people
  • Extinction in large number of flora and fauna
  • Increase in global warming and degradation of environment
  • Disturbed food chain

Apart from over population being an everytime issue, decline in the population is also a major headache for the developing human community. It’s never too late to hold on the dreadful explosion of human bombs and it could only be done with the ” Human” efforts so as to maintain a balance over the earth, otherwise the earth will take the revenge in it’s own way and would leave no stones unturned to destroy this human population from the earth.

“Can Wormhole – Be Someday a Bypass to New Possibilities”?

Science and technologies have helped humans to survive and life their lifestyle with utmost comfort and facilities. These have not only opened opportunities to new ideas but also have made things possible which at times were even difficult to imagine. Every individual has their own dreams and wishes which they want to be true one day. But the fantasy and desire which each individual has in their life especially in their childhood to travel to space and see how life’s out there, irrespective of the thought and difficulties attached to it. But man with the development of ideas and better technology have been able to bring this dream to something practical and was able to send things to space in the late 50’s. But what initially got the attraction was the man’s first landing on the natural satelliteMoon in the late 60’s , which transformed the technology and the way every individual saw space to different phases. With this we humans were able to accomplish various other achievements like that of satellites, space exploration and the most important, International Space Station. With all these space missions and human interference as common visit to space opened the door to the thought of space travel and people were and are really keen to visit space ones in their lifetime and even to other planets be in this galaxy or other. “But is it really possible” ?

Man has been figuring out different ways and ideas to reach to different planets, not only in this galaxy but also to the other. All help from various satellites to visualise different space objects and phenomena. There are many possibilities of life on most of the planet but it’s difficult to reach these planets as these are various light years apart. Which surely means that to reach these planets we must manufacture a spacecraft traveling at a speed of light or more, which contradicts the statement of Einstein and limits our reach. According to Einstein theory or the famous Theory of Relativity, any object which has a certain mass cannot travel with the speed of light, as it would require an enormous amount of energy or the ideal system to produce energy which won’t get exhausted soon. So it surely makes it ideally impossible to reach out these planet at these distance.

But still there are possibilities to reach out these planets as per different theories even without breaking the Theory of Relativity. The existence of Wormholes, still a questionable part and still exists only in theories. As per the general relativity theory by Einstein, it tells about how gravity really works and why it works. According to his theory, gravitation works by the bending of space due to the weight of the planets and stars. It thus forms a curved path, which helps them to revolve around each other. So more the weight of the planet or object, the more it will bend the space. So the main belief which Einstein had in this theory was that, it is possible to create a shortcut between any two objects as they “Create bend in space  thus connecting those through an invisible path connecting them both through space and time. So it brought out the possibility to travel in space, by bending it”.

So is it really possible to travel through these Wormholes, there are things which do contradict travelling through it. Since no significant occurrence of these have been observed in our nearest surroundings. Also it is believed that these are really small which might not fit the space ship or spacecraft into it. So we need to expand it so as to travel through them. Exotic matter can be a way out in such condition. Exotic matter is something which also has no existence but scientists are into making it. Exotic matter is totally different from the normal matter. It is believed that exotic matter has negative energy density and pressure. So This could be used to push back the walls of the wormhole and create enough space for the spacecraft to enter it.But it’s believed  that as soon as we enter a wormhole, the wormhole can destroy and thus we would die in it . Also there are possibilities which barely makes it difficult for us to return back to our time period, as we would travel to different times. Also the existence of another wormhole would still be a matter of thought and not sure would exist or not.

“It’s really fascinating to hear about all this and know about the research going in this field, it might seem to be dangerous but still we are into making it possible through our technological aspects as well as through various research in space. It’s still a question to doubt time travel or space travelling to other planets is possible or not and will be able to do so. But it’s also believed that anything which is mathematically driven, is possible. So let’s wait for better beat to enter a new era of possibilities”.
