GOOD TOUCH BAD TOUCH!

There is no one in the world could love their children more than their parents. Yes they protect their children a different layers upon them ,the layers of their knowledge, kindness, infinite love, and moreover many parents have their dreams on their children and so on. Years passed by ,and the relationship between the parents vary some people love for their partners increase and some increase cases of divorce but maximum parents after ages they live for their childrens . In this developing era as parents you should be more updated to seek what’s going around your society. The cruelty and the inhumanity of those selfless bullies are all around your society aware parents! That might be your neighborhood, your family friends, your relations, nearby shopkeepers and many. Your childrens are the young clusters it builds up by your stories, teaching , strength. And this is the high time ,Teach your child what is good touch and bad touch. Make them self protective.

What is good touch and bad touch ?

Good touch” as a way for people to show they care for each other and help each other (i.e., hugging, holding hands, changing a baby’s diaper). “Bad touch”, on the other hand, is the kind you don’t like and want it to stop right away (e.g. hitting, kicking, or touching private parts)

How to teach your childrens?

First thing is be friendly with your childrens both father and mother should sit together with the children for their learning . There are lots and lots of videos and slideshare are available show them the videos of good touch and bad touch. Educate them both the girl child and the boy child .

  • Use appropriate language
  • Explain the concept of privacy and body space
  • Expect questions
  • Don’t laugh or giggle even if the question is silly or is completely based on a myth
  • Be brief
  • Don’t force affection

Teach them some ground rules for safety: Teach them it is not okay for anyone to look at or touch their private parts — the area covered by their underwear. It is easier for a child to follow a rule, and they will more immediately recognise a “bad touch” if they have this guideline in mind. Reassure your children that you will listen to him or her, believe him or her, and want to keep him or her protected. – ET

Review

I took this topic because, I recently went through a tamil movie which affected me a lot the brutality among children and the unjustified court laws and order! The must watch film of 2020 ‘Ponmagal vanthal’ which is released in tamil industry. While surfing through this topic I also got this poem which will be helpful for you in short to understand the importance of good touch and bad touch!

IMPORTANCE OF DRINKING WATER FOR YOUR SKIN

Drinking an adequate amount of water daily is essential for overall good health because water helps in digestion, circulation of blood, absorption and even excretion. But when we talk about drinking large amounts of water daily for proper skin health does it have any benefits??

Yes it do have certain benefits. Claims have been made that drinking water gives you a radiant, healthy, younger looking complexion and a lot more skin benefits.

The fact is that skins is an organ and just like an other body part our skin is made up of cells where these skin cells too are made up of water. Without sufficient water the organs will certainly not function properly at their best. When your skin does not gets adequate amount of water then it turns dry, tight and flaky due to lack of hydration which will turn our skin more prone to wrinkling.

As water is lost in large quantities every day, you need to replace it somehow. The unfortunate truth about drinking water is that it will reach all other organs before it reaches to skin. So it’s important to apply water on our skin in every possible ways.

Drink more water at least 10 glasses ever day. This will help body rid of toxins and will make your skin glowy. Those who suffer from acne will also feel the same results. But it is to be remembered that nothing will happen overnight, it will take some couple of weeks to see the results in your skin till then start increasing intake of water every day so that you can see how hydration can affect your own skin. But for this you have to try if initially it will not benefit you much then certainly it won’t even hurt you.

Storytelling.

The story goes in the early 90’s. A student who for the education purpose was living away from his home without having any disturbance through his family. He used to live in the city of Rajathan. He got the invitation from one of his close friends to attend his cousins wedding. It was in the village of Rajasthan somewhere near by to that city but still far as of his reach. He was 17 back then and was living alone. So he gave it a thought and as he was living far from the village how will he be able to go were the thoughts running in his mind. He refused to go and tried to cancel the plan but at the same time was curious to attend the village’s wedding. So atlast he decided to visit the village and attend the wedding.

After informing to his parents he left soon to attend the wedding which was scheduled 2 days later. He reached the village and his friend picked him up from the station and both went to his friends house. His friends was happy as they were meeting after long time. After freshing up he takes some rest so that he can attend the rituals later. He wanted to travel the village but his friend refused as he was quiet busy but he asked multiple times so his friend couldn’t refuse. It was already evening..and luckily one of his friends uncle asked them to sit in their car but mid way they have to leave as his uncle had some work. Now it was getting dark and no vehicle was passing by. After waiting for long time a bus arrived so they both without giving it a thought sat in the bus. There were few villagers around 10-12 including them both. Slowly by every passing stop people were leaving the bus as their destination arrived and a time came when only those 2 friends and the conductor and the driver were left. Both were worried as it was dark and had no cellphones and smart phones to carry around. They were getting negative thoughts and were afraid that they might get bankrupted by robbers in the midway or the conductor and the driver were the goons of the robbers as it was common in those day.

They were in some vacant area where no one seems around even from far side. After around 10-15 minutes out of nowhere the bus stopped and their heart throbbed. They were in utter shock and disbelief as whatever they were thinking was slowly turning into reality. Now both the conductor and the driver gave fishy look. Both the friends gave the numb look as they didn’t know what was going to happen. After being asked they told that they are going out to have some snacks and tea as they are hungry. Both friends believed that sonething is fishy and were terriefied as hell. As soon as the conductor and driver got off the bus they slowly put on the door lock and closed each and every window. Now they got some relief as they both were in the bus but soon they will be returning to the bus was terrifying and were giving them chills. Both were cursing each other for not listening. Soon the enjoyment was turning into the matter of survival. And they heard the knock on the door..both the driver and the conductor came back to the site and were knocking on the door but both the friends refused to open. Whatever they were speaking were not audible either side as the windows were closed so they couldn’there each other. The conductor and the driver thought that they are planning to take away the bus and both the friends were thinking that they are planning to rob them and kill.

After that the conductor and the driver started to knock more rapidly and loudly and were shouting fron outside like anything. One of them after observing the action of conductor and the driver thought that they are trying to explain something and they opened one window into half..! The driver and conductor sighed out of relief and asked why did they close the doors and the windows..and on the other side both the friends asked that where in this vacant jungle area they found tea seller..both the conductor and driver were confused and laughed loudly and told them that the diesel has been finished in the bus and it was at the back of the bus so they went to bring and fill it ; )

The Wonderful “Village Life”

The life of the village or the rural life of the people is considered to be those who live far away from the cities and like cities they do not get all kinds of facilities. The life of the village people is very different as compared to the urban people. In today’s article, I will tell you about the way people living in rural villages live their lives and their beautiful environment as well.
Today India is a developing country.

Even then there are many more villages in India today than in the cities. According to the report, more than 75 percent of the Indian population lives in the village. The life of the village is quiet, green and pollution free.
Seeing the beauty and greenery of the village fields is something else. All major decisions in the village are passed through the officer and sarpanch of the panchayat office.

Even today, the life of the village is very different from the cities in this modern era. The facilities of complete education in the village are not available even today. Even today most of the villages have only primary school facilities and some big villages have only high school facilities.
Even today, the children of the village have to go to big cities for college or higher education. In such a situation, people who do not have money to send their children to the city, they stop their education. Thus most people remain uneducated in the village.

Earlier, all villages in India used to have chaat made of bamboo and straw and houses were also made of mud, but now with the help of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, poor people are getting pucca houses in the village for free.
Almost all the villagers do farming and raise chickens, cows, buffalo, oxen and goats in their homes. Also, the people of the village do not go to buy vegetables in vegetable market like urban people. Everyone grows vegetables in their fields and gardens and eat their own homegrown vegetables.

The main work of the village people is farming. Even today, all the grains that people eat in cities come from the village fields. Even today, in this 21st century, there are many villages which do not even have good roads to reach.
There are very few people living in the village compared to the city. People in the village have a lot of open space around their house and not everyone has a motorcycle or a car. Most people in the village have a bullock cart as a vehicle. But in some places now people in the village also have the facilities of car-motor.
Now first aid centers have also been opened near the village from the government, due to which the people of the village are also getting facilities in the field of medicine. For the time of emergency, the government has now provided free 108 ambulance service in most first aid centers which have proved very helpful.

People of the village hold weekly small markets where people go to buy clothes, food items, electricity and other essential items. If he has to buy some big things, then he goes to the nearby city.
The weather in the village is very pleasant and the atmosphere is very clean. Today, due to pollution in urban areas, breathing has become difficult. But this is not the case in the village. Due to less vehicular traffic in the village, pollution is minimal and hence the environment is also clean.
But in rural areas where there is scarcity of water, the water resources are very unhygienic because in most of the villages where people wash clothes, bathe cow-buffalo and bathe in the same water and eat and drink that water.

Most of the people in villages in areas where farming is not being done properly due to some natural reasons are below the poverty line (BPL-Below poverty line). They do not even have food grains to eat for a period of time because they do not have fields or water is not available in the fields.
The first few years ago, the life of the village used to sink into darkness as soon as most of the villages had no electricity. Today most of the villages have access to electricity. Now the children of the village are also working hard and achieving many successes in the field of education.
Today, even though people in urban areas have forgotten the culture and tradition of India to some extent, even today, the tradition and culture of our country is deeply rooted in the hearts of rural people. The village festival does not have as much fireworks and light as the cities, but it has the right rules, and people enjoy the festival together.

Even though the life of the village looks very painful to see, but it is very beautiful and beautiful. Today, due to internet and good roadways, the rural life of India has also taken a long way forward.

If and only if

If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

The poet begins with a father listing the various things the son should do to be a true embodiment of a human being which he terms as a Man. The son here is representative of all human beings and the father is echoing the poet’s own worldly wisdom. The poet tells us that we should keep our calm when others around us are losing their patience. He details that we should trust ourselves when men all around us doubt us but we should be open enough to accept their criticisms. The poet says that we should wait and not get tired of waiting and if we are lied to, we shouldn’t deal in lies or being hated shouldn’t give way to hating others. We shouldn’t look as if we are too good or talk as if we are too wise.

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

The poet tells us to dream but we shouldn’t get lost in our dreams so as to not work on our aims at all. We should think but shouldn’t restrict ourselves to just thinking. We should accept triumphs and disasters just the same. We should have the ability to hear the truth that we have spoken being manipulated into something else by deceitful people to trap gullible people. We should have to ability to accept the things that have given our life to, fall into pieces but we should stoop and start rebuilding them with our tired self.

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

We should have the ability to gamble all of our winnings and if we lose, we should start again and never breathe a word about the losses we may have suffered. We should force our tired and old body to keep going even when we are old. We should hold on when we have nothing left in us except the inner will which says us not to give up.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

We should have the ability to talk with varied people and not lose our true virtue. We should walk with Kings but not lose our common roots. The poet says if neither our enemies nor friends can’t hurt us and if we can have the ability to keep going despite adverse circumstances such as a bad period of time where nothing goes right for us then we will truly be a Man.

Boycott China effect? AC-maker Johnson-Hitachi India to halve import, double export

Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India is a 60:40 JV between the American and Japanese companies, respectively, and enjoys 12.5 per cent of the Rs 16,000-crore market in value and 11 per cent of the 65-lakh units domestic AC market as of FY2020.

Leading air-conditioner maker Johnson Controls-Hitachi India is planning to halve its import dependence and at the same time to double its exports over the next one year. The move comes amidst the shrill calls for boycotting Chinese goods following violent skirmishes on the Leh border earlier this month that lead to the killing of 20 Indian soldiers.

The government sees the air-conditioning industry as a priority sector for generating jobs along with furniture, leather and footwear. The domestic AC industry meets almost half of its parts through imports, primarily from China, and turn it to be a key export driver.

The company closed FY2020 with a turnover of Rs 2,300 crore, selling 7.5 lakh units, giving it a market share of over 12.5 per cent, chairman and managing director Gurmeet Singh said. On profit, he said on average they make 8-9 per cent net margin but this year it may slip to 6-7 per cent, as he does not expect to add volume due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With 12.5 per cent market share, Hitachi is the fourth largest player after Blue Star, Voltas and Daikin overall, and the third largest in window & split segment, he claimed. The company runs a 9-lakh per annum plant (in single shift, and up to 15 lakh in double shifts) at Kadi, on the outskirts of Ahmedabad since 2009 and has made a cumulative investment of over Rs 800 crore.

“We import around 40 per cent parts, of which 50 per cent are China-sourced. The import supply chain suffered due to the pandemic since February and the lockdown since March has left us with huge inventory pile. And I don’t want to have a repeat of either.

“Therefore, my idea is to focus on cutting down imports by half over the next one year and at the same time also to double my exports to 50,000 units or thereabout from the present 25,000-odd units to the middle East and Africa–both of which are under the India,” Singh told PTI over the phone from his New Delhi headquarters.

Singh said on a net basis 70 per cent of the AC market is imported in terms of parts and 30 per cent of the Rs 16,000-crore overall market is fully imported units. Of the remaining Rs 11,200 crore, around 50 per cent parts are again imported, reducing the domestic market pie to just about Rs 8,000 crore.

There are great synergies between India, Africa and the Middle East markets in terms of weather conditions, which demand only minor tweaks in the India made units, Singh explained underlining the scope for exports and noted that while our AC exports are close to nothing, China ships out 4 crore units annually.

“But we can easily do an encore of what we have done in mobile phone manufacturing,” Singh said, adding we can serve Africa, the Middle East, and the SAARC markets. Stating that he does not see an opportunity to grow bigger this year, he said he’d be happy not to lose his people (to the virus) and also market share this year. He said while sales were down 80 per cent in March, the same plunged over 90 per cent in April (he sold 2,000 units to government for COVID hospitals) and June volume is down 65 per cent so far.

MAKE IN INDIA OR INVENT IN INDIA?

India must focus on discovering, inventing and making in India and not just make in India. Many feel that India cannot produce its own Google or Facebook or Apple because we have an attitude in us that we keep borrowing things from the world and not invent our thoughts that can compete on the world level. ‘Make in India’ is a much-needed program for India. The government and our prime minister have brought at a good time. The country has a fiscal deficit and perhaps, with ‘Make in India’, foreign investments in the country and exports will grow to stabilise the Indian rupee in the international market. If our currency appreciates, then we can also focus on many other initiatives. It is a politically correct decision but for the scheme to succeed the country has to invent and discover locally too.

It must be understood that for India, making things here are quite important, but the quintessential aspect should be making things here without depending on other nations. For this, we must discover and invent and make things in India. A reasonable portion of Indian GDP must be dedicated to research and development and also to the education system so that discoveries and inventions take place from school to college level to start-ups. There must also be a simultaneous effort to foster entrepreneurship so that ‘make in India’ and ‘invent in India’ go hand in hand. The government must also create a culture conducive to entrepreneurship. In Singapore, one can start a business in just 2.5 days whereas in India, on an average it takes about a month. Also, a person aspiring to invent something does not get the required infrastructure and financial assistance to pursue dreams. Given this unfavourable environment, Indian are not interested in discovering and developing. There are perils of Indian bureaucracy which is outdated, definitely inflexible and many times irrational but with breakthroughs by students and can present them with immediate commercial opportunities. There is tremendous talent in India, and it must bloom during college, if not school time. Schools have an instrumental role to play in imparting scientific education from the right age of a child with an emphasis on project development. Children are curious, and if the right direction is given to them in science, they will give India the right direction.

 Indian youth is always driven towards engineering colleges in numbers far more significant than science and discovery, as they consider it a safer choice. With these talented individuals, India has the potential to become an influential scientific nation. Brain drain is an issue in which an Indian goes abroad and contributes immensely to a foreign country. The government must introduce lucrative programs that pull back pool of talented Indians in abroad and also let the existing citizens stay back willingly.

India must become an innovative country in the next 5-10 years. Strong academia is required, which can come through collaboration with the US, and that will lay a strong foundation for India’s growth in the long run. The partnership with the US in primary, higher education and research would benefit India tremendously. Such kind of a strategy will uplift India in high-tech product and service category and increased exports along with domestic consumption of such offerings will take the nation forward to achieve its ‘superpower’ ambition. Only a technologically advanced country can become a superpower. If there is a tie-up with universities for PHD, then we must check that once the students, who’re sent to the US for higher education in the technology field, finish their school, they must come back and serve India. People who go for studies there seldom come back. India will have the onus to provide these people with the employment and opportunities in research and development and give them a life which is on par with the US. Both countries will win in this situation where bilateral trade will increase ten folds also benefiting the ‘make in India’ scheme. Locally assemble and manufactured products will be cheaper; it will lead to much employment, will increase exports and give Indian companies a better global platform and presence.

Since the topic of aspiring to become a superpower is mentioned; it must be noted that ‘Make in India’ will take us in that direction but ‘Discover, Invent and Make in India’ will make us a superpower.

TV and kids

Television, a major source of entertainment. For all the age group people, be it kids or the old aged. Everyone can enjoy their personal content. Where kids love to watch cartoons and fictional shows…youngsters watch serials or reality shows…middle aged people gives major attention to the news…old aged group people tune into the bhajan and astha channels. All the kind of age groups have their own interests of content, therefore it is the responsibility of the directors of the serials to show good and genuine content.

Kids tend to learn faster when the things are shown lively..whats better than watching it on TV. As said kids learn things whatever they are seeing and grasp whatever is happening around them. Prime responsibility is of parents to keep a watch on what kind of content their children are watching..but some responsibility is also of the directors and the creators of the shows. They should have limits on what kind of contents they are showing as it will be on air and everyone will be watching them. Shows like Horrid Henry, Shinchan, Doraemon gives false impression on the children. When they watch such things they try to copy them..Horrid Henry lies about various things, always teases his younger brother and run away without saying to his parents..This looks fun at starting but you should also know that some or the other day your kid may copy that. Shinchan is everyone’s favourite cartoon ever and its an evergreen show till date but even this teaches wrong behaviour, and this particular show has many fan followers so be careful what they shows in the cartoons. Doraemon gives wrong hopes to the children and Nobita’s character always procrastinate things and always shown lethargic towards work, depending on him, seeking help from Doraemon. Because of this kids are slowly forgetting about the outdoor-indoor games and always sitting at one place staring at that dead box(TV). Also, These are all my personal favourites…but your kids responsibilities are in your hands. I am not asking to completely avoid shows but have control over what your children are watching. Being careful now will help in future.

Pottery: A sustainable alternative

For the love of pottery | Delhi/NCR Activity with TogetherV

With the current environmental situations prevailing in our surroundings, it has become a duty and responsibility of each individual to use more renewable and recyclable products. It is a known fact that not all the products can be recycled, in which case, using products which have a high level of recyclability is advisable. Earthenware products are easily recycled and its recyclability rate is also extremely high. From the broken pots to old utensils, all can be recycled completely, with the help of a simple process and can be carved easily and quickly into newly desirable shapes. The recyclability rate of clay is 95 percent. This is a very high rate, highlighting that people should buy terracotta products more for preserving the environment. All the products that are made of clay possess the attribute of being highly durable and they are built with the main focus of being long-lasting. It is due to this aspect that they can tolerate a high level of wear and tear. In addition to this, the product has a high level of weather and heat resistance.

With growing concern for environment many people are replacing their steel/aluminum cookware with traditional vessels made of clay just like their ancestors. From cooking food to setting curd and storing water, their aim is to be self-sustainable and eco-friendly. Cooking in earthen pots and utensils also has additional benefits. These are:

Clay is alkaline in nature and when it interacts with the acidity in the food, it neutralizes the pH balance eventually making it healthier.

Due to its heat resistance, the food retains all the natural oils and moisture while slow-cooking, hence, extra oil need not be added.

Earthen utensils are not very expensive and cost-efficient compared to most other types of utensil.

Cooking in a clay vessel infuses the food with many important nutrients like calcium, phosphorous, iron, magnesium and Sulphur

Boiling milk, or making curd in Clay pots gives it better taste and texture than metal vessels, as told by veteran Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

Clay being a porous material, allows heat and moisture circulate evenly through the pot during cooking, unlike with metal or stainless steel pots. This superior form of heat circulation helps in cooking vegetables and meat evenly.

Firstly, Clay cooking pots are extremely effective for slow cooking. Clay cooking vessels are porous in nature. It allows both moisture and heat to circulate easily through them. This aids in even, slow and delicate cooking.  Curry, gravy, and sautéing vegetables/meat are best done in earthenware.
