While crossing a woods
I found countless birds
And innumerable animals
In merry mood
As they were celebrating festivals
With beautiful colours
And a variety of flowers
The birds sing song
And all plants thronged
To enjoy the songs
And see the dance
By some chance
The leaves were clapping
To cheer up the birds
In the woods
I thought and thought
And almost pondered
On this Earth
Everything living
Or non-living
An inherent quality
To communicate to us
And a way to express
Their merry and mirth
Something you need
To see and heed
And that is nothing
But the heart of a man
And an eye of a poet to scan
With tender heart
Feel the unfelt
In poetry spelt
I found countless birds
And innumerable animals
In merry mood
As they were celebrating festivals
With beautiful colours
And a variety of flowers
The birds sing song
And all plants thronged
To enjoy the songs
And see the dance
By some chance
The leaves were clapping
To cheer up the birds
In the woods
I thought and thought
And almost pondered
On this Earth
Everything living
Or non-living
An inherent quality
To communicate to us
And a way to express
Their merry and mirth
Something you need
To see and heed
And that is nothing
But the heart of a man
And an eye of a poet to scan
With tender heart
Feel the unfelt
